Constance Robbins (@constancerobbins), an independent salon owner at her own private studio in Upland, Ca., has been an artistic educator at Matrix for 12 years and is a certified Matrix CRAFT Color Master. Her passion is hair painting and color correction and has an deep love for redheads of any shade. "This guest was a ready for a big change and gave me creative freedom as long as I kept her in the copper family," says Robbins. "I jumped at the chance to give her an attention grabbing, yet still wearable red. She came in with about an inch of natural level 7 new growth, level 6 warm brown demi permanent through the mid lengths, and blonde balayage ombre through the ends. Instead of adding more lightener or doing a color remover, I wanted to work with the depth and dimension she already had and utilized Matrix Socolor Sored boosters to do my color correction work for me."
