Jon Alexander Frawley (@jonnystylez), a color and balayage specialist at Bangz Salon and Wellness Spa, Montclair, New Jersey, shares details of this amazing transformation:

"This client came in with level 7 BRASS and wanted to become a little more SASS! She wanted a deeper dimensional base that had no red and a bright gold balayage running seamlessly throughout."

Step 1: Start application to the root (like a normal single process) using Wella Koleston 6/2=4/0 with pastel developer.

Step 2: Immediately apply a V sectioning pattern and start pulling through the back up to the occipital bone with what was used on the root.

Step 3: Once at the occipital bone alternate the root shade with balayage  using Wella Blondor.

Step 4: Place client under a climazon heat roller and process for 40 minutes. Rinse and follow with Wella Blondor Seal and Care.

Step 5: Tone with Davines permanent color 9/32 with a dot of 7/01 7 volume.
