Here Casey shares how she made the dream color to keep her local:
Step 1: Fill in previous highlights using Paul Mitchell Shines XG: 8C with 5 volume. Process for 25 minutes and then shampoo and dry the hair.
Step 2: To create a deep vibrant base color, apply Joico's XR series: 7XR & 5XR with 5 volume on the previously highlighted areas and 20 volume on the regrowth area.
Step 3: While processing, blend Joico Vero Lights in Red with 20 volume. Alternate slices and weaves (in foil) in an "X" pattern across the top of the head right over the base color.
Step 4: Process for 30 minutes. Rinse and shampoo.
