Anna Bianca Clark (@annabiancahair), a color specialist at Seasons Salon Spa Aveda in Redlands, California, and her client decided to do something "cool" for fall. Well, "cool" translated to fun colors including pastel blues and violets. Here Clark offers the HOW TO:

All color by Aveda:

Formula A : 30grams Enlightener (bleach powder ) + 60grams 20v Color Catalyst

Formula B : 20grams ELC + 3grams Pastel Blue + 3grams Pastel Violet + 40grams 20v Color Catalyst

Formula C : 10 grams 0N + 2grams Light b/b + 12grams Liquid Activator

Formula D : 10 grams  0N + 5grams Light b/b + 15grams Liquid Activator

HOW TO:

 Step 1 : Section the hair into 4 quadrants

 Step 2 : Take a horizontal slice near the nape of the neck, in the back left quadrant.

 St ep 3:  Apply formula A to the ends of the slice and feather upwards towards the midlengths.

Step 4: Continue alternating weaves and slices, repeating in remaining quadrants (be very aware of the fringe, while feathering notice your clients face shape, enhance their features).

Step 5: Process for 35 to 40 minutes.

Step 6: Rinse, shampoo with Aveda Blue Malva color shampoo and towel dry.

Step 7: Apply formula B to the midlengths and ends, just to break up that orange and yellow.

Step 8:  Process 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 9 : Rinse, shampoo with Aveda Color Conserve shampoo, towel dry.

Step 10: Apply formulas C all over from roots to midlengths.

Step 11: Melt with formula D to the ends.

Step 12: Process for 20 mins and then rinse and condition with Aveda Damage Remedy Conditioner .
