When we posted this makeover by Miriam Ortega (@studio410artonhair) earlier today, you reacted! With 30 minutes there were more than 45 comments, most asking for the formula. We tracked down Ortega, the owner and hair artist of Studio 410, located in the heart of the "bishop arts district", in  Dallas, Texas, to get more information. "We decided to 'wind down' her color for fall," says Orgeta. "using rich multi-dimensional tones. For this I used demi perm. This will allow us to not only get her fall ready, but to almost allow her color to hibernate. And as a bonus, the existing highlights offer additional deminsion."

Here Ortega shares the formula and HOW TO:

Step 1:  Tease the hair from the crown to nape. From new growth to teased area apply this formula:  4 oz. of 4N of Wella Color Charm Demi- perm with 20 drops of Gray Magic and equal parts of 10 volume developer.

Step 2: From teased hair to the ends apply 4oz. of 6W of Wella Color Charm Demi-perm, adding 10 drops of Gray Magic, with equals parts of 10 volume.

Step 3: Apply cap and process for 20- 25minutes.

Step 4: Rinse , shampoo and deep condition using Moroccanoil Deep Conditioning Treatment!
