If you are in a suite, how much should you charge?

MODERN's Beauty and Fashion Director checked in with superstar GUY TANG who shares his own pricing strategy. Tang, who does everything from sweeping the floors to folding the towels, devotes the day (or half day) to each client and charges accordingly. Each service is priced individually based actually on the service, not the time.

"Consult beforehand so the client knows what she is paying for," he advises. "Charge for base and then highlights, which, in my case, start at $300."

Tang understands that different markets can (and should) charge differently. Make sure to watch through to the end to learn why Tang believes every artist, if given the chance, should work with a company or brand. "You can learn so much from them," he says.
