Jenna Faicco of Salon Brielle (@ SalonBrielle) in Holbrook, NY, says that  "Hair painting and balayage has brought my color game to an exciting new level." She is clearly doing something right! We found this makeover on her Instagram page (@FaiccoJ) and asked for more details. Here she shares:

"My guest came in with 4/5 inch of natural roots and golden brassy ends. Prior to her meeting me 2 months ago, she went to another salon wanting a very beige blonde color. For a while, she was box coloring her own hair dark brown. The other salon said they could achieve what she wanted in one sitting and her end result was the golden brassy blonde. I told her that I probably would not be able to achieve her beige blonde in just one visit. She said, 'Can't you just put the highest volume on my hair??!' I told her with the help of Olaplex, I will push her hair, but the integrity of your hair takes priority.  At our salon, especially when it comes to color correction, we always 'Under promise yet over deliver.'"

Step 1: Balayage throughout with Kenra Color Simply Blonde added to Tocco Magico Delight lightener with 40 volume Tocco Magico delight developer added. Olaplex was added to the lightener.

Step 2: Lowlight randomly throughout with Rusk Deepshine 6.11aa with 10 volume, isolating all sections using embee meche strips. Color was applied using Framar brushes along with a Redken Blur Brush.

Step 3: Process without heat for approximately 40-50 minutes taking out sections as needed. Shampoo with Framesi Dynamic Blonde (purple shampoo) concentrating on roots for 3 minutes.

Step 4: Tone with Joico 8v with 10 volume, blended with Olaplex. Process for 5 minutes, leaving traces of brassiness at roots.

Step 5: Add Joico 8b with 10 volume to the 8v straight through to the ends. Process for an additional 10 minutes.
