Justin Magdule (@justin_cuts_and_colours) of Pixxie Salon, Ambler, PA., says that "Alanah's hair has taken a process, including months of lightening with Wella Blondor and 20-40 volume multiple times, and tones with Color Touch 10/6 and 10/81."
For this session, Magdule added some fun color. Here he shares the HOW TO to the previously lifted hair:
STEP 1: Apply Pravana Chroma Silk - Violet to the root, feathering out slightly.
STEP 2: For the midlength and ends apply Pravana Chroma Silk - Wild Orchid.
STEP 3: Process for 15 minutes in the chair, and then another 10 minutes under heat to lock in the color. Rinse with cold water.
"The inspiration was due to my girlfriends decision to use a purple shampoo this morning. She liked the ashey tones it gave her platinum hair, and decided she wanted a change. We used the Pravana series, and gave her hair the rooted look for a dimension and flare that is desired but rarely achieved by many!"
