Maintaining the health and integrity of the hair is just one of the reasons so many color-savvy clients flock to Eva Scrivo’s two New York salons. Not to mention, of course, her expertise in dimensional shading and baliage, which she demonstrates in this MODERN exclusive collection shot on location at her Bond Street salon.

Scrivo, who is a spokesperson for L’Oréal Professionnel INOA hair color, is rarely seen in the salon without her artist’s palette and baliageperfect color brush. “The technical aspect of baliage is always underestimated—it takes years to learn properly,” she says. Scrivo creates believable dimension by applying color where needed and alternating the size and width of placement. “That placement in precise and artistic, placing highs and lows only where needed and desired.”

Here, Scrivo uses INOA color and Platinium lightener to create two sizzling hot finishes that are perfect for summer.
