I really like the new look and easy forum of the New Modern Salon. I can not put my issue down until I have readed it from cover to cover...... Thanks for writing such a great magazine for Hair stlist. I enjoy learning about new stylist and better products
I have to confess I was sorely disappointed with the new look and content. The first issue distributed with the new look/content seemed more like a magazine for middle-school or high school teens. Not only where the hair designs sub-par, the models all looked in their early teens. And as for the content - it was page after page of ads, less content than the original layout, their may have been one how-to embedded in the issue, and the editorial content left much to be desired.
I would vote to go back to the original format/content. As a professional stylist I need a magazine that is going to focus on our craft - not a magazine designed for us to use as a catalog of pictures for clients and ads for us to quickly flip past.

I have been in the busines for only 5 years, but I definitely saw the change in Modern Salon Mag. By far, its easier to read and locate information and. Its much easier on the eyes
