Arrojo Academy, What’s That?

A modern educational facility located in New York’s SoHo neighborhood. We’re dedicated to providing advanced, inspirational, and career shaping hairdressing education to all licensed professionals.

Philosophy

Getting a cosmetology license shouldn’t be the end of your education; it should be the beginning. Imagine if you knew, and we mean really knew, how to create controlled, face-framing shape, how to introduce layers, and how to execute a graduated razor cut. And that’s just the beginning. We know so much more about cutting, color and business building techniques from all corners of the shop – and we want to share them with you. Because teaching others makes us better hairdressers ourselves. And more than that, we’re committed to raising standards in our craft. We want all hairdressers to be better hairdressers because we love our craft: it’s creative, it’s fun, and we get to make people beautiful. And you, you’ll not only be a better, more creative, more inspired hairdresser, your client base will grow too. Great, high-quality haircuts get noticed and motivate the famous old question: “where did you get your hair cut”. That could – and should – be you.
