Faux Locks by Barbara Lhotan

“I use Xfusion,” says Lhotan. “Although I offer this to clients to hide balding spots or to bulk up the hair, it works perfectly for this look to add texture.”

Lhotan selected long-time friend and model Kinzie, known for her long pretty waves, because she felt the transformation would be most dramatic. “Let’s take these long pretty locks and change them into something with an edge, offering a fun alter-ego,” says Lhotan.

“The best thing about these dreadlocks is that they will wash out with her next shampoo!”

I LOVE this look, too! It's chaos, but still controlled—and un-doable with a shampoo.

Wow... now that's cool. What an amazing transformation... Leave it to Lhotan to come up with an innovative way to use product!! Love the look and that it doesn't need to be a permanent decision.

I have never seen anything like this -- very cool -- can go out at night looking fine and be back to "work hair" in the morning. Very very cool!
