Can't Master 'The Snooki'? Try 'The Audrey!' Dear Modern Salon readers,
Just because I'm writing about Jersey Shore hair does not mean that I am endorsing Jersey Shore or their crazy antics. I am simply fascinated by their mile-high hair... and, their fist pumping.
That is all.
Sincerely,
Alison Shipley

MTV's Jersey Shore has the nation sprayin' on that tan, tossin' the steel and hittin' the dance floor! One of the biggest influences on pop culture the hit reality show has had is on people trying to pull off THE JERSEY HAIR!!

Seriously, from Snooki's poof to Pauly D's blow out, to JWoWW's extensions: This group of eight has us fascinated. Check out Michael Cera's hilarious Jersey Shore Makeover.

Can't Master 'The Snooki'? Try 'The Audrey!' Out of the group, no one's hair has been more influential than Snooki's. Nearly every night in beauty school, somebody is sitting in front of their mirror trying to master The Snooki Poof. There's nothing like it—that girl can tease and poof like no other. Snooki's even been imitated on Saturday Night Live! You know you've made it big when you're on SNL.

Let's face it: We can't all get our hair as big as Snooki's. Enter The Audrey by Divado. A few months ago, I wrote about this hair insert not knowing how insanely popular big hair was going to get. What better time to reintroduce it than now!

Can't Master 'The Snooki'? Try 'The Audrey!'Divado's silicon-based hair insert “The Audrey," allows for big hair, Southern Belle-style, without any teasing or product. In addition to using it in updos in the salon, it's also a great take home for retail. When it arrived on my desk, I knew I had to give it a try.

All I did was part my hair in the middle of my head (horizontally between my forehead and the crown) and brushed my hair forward. Then, I placed Audrey at my hairline—just above my forehead—and pulled back, securing the comb in my hair. Then, I pulled my hair back over Audrey, and sprayed my hairspray over my bangs, to make sure they were secured. I finished by smoothing out the hair over Audrey and securing with a clip and a bobby pin.

I used hairspray to get my bangs to fit over this puppy, but as soon as I whipped out Sexy Hair's Spray and Play hairspray, I was set. It took no more than a few spritzes to get my 'do over the Divado.

Can't Master 'The Snooki'? Try 'The Audrey!'Voila! I was able to achieve awesome results on my own—just imagine what you, as a professional, could do!

I pity the fool who don't like Jersey Shore. I love the commercials with Michael Cera getting a makeover from Pauly D and The Situation. Snickers is a little troll though, she just has the poof to make her look taller.

Hahaha! Alison, your "poof" is awesome. Maybe I need to actually watch this show!
